These two websites show similar things concerning technology; the first one is about the US changing the $5 dollar bill (using a computer) into a more advanced quality money bill; the second is STILL about the $5 dollar bill, but it shows and talks about ways how you can fold the paper bill into many pictures to fit the events of 9/11! Search them up first before answering the questions. This was such unique stuff to look up about, and here are my questions:

1) What do you think about the $5 dollar bill being changed into a differnet and higher quality bill? Do you think they are changing it for like the same reason Japan changed its ¥1,000 bill 'person' from the first guy, to Noguchi Hideyo?

2) Is it because the US could have discovered some groups of gangsters who had the technology to print and copy the money, and so they (US) decided to CHANGE the money in order for it to be HARDER to copy?

3) What about the 'money folding' thing? So many things concerning 9/11 can be found on the bill by folding. Do you think it's just coincedence or a conspiracy? Especially, that the 4% dollar bill can be folded to spell Osama's name!

I honestly myself don't know, and I'm just taking the topic with a grain salt. But I thought the $5 dollar bill changing was kinda cool; I've never seen such a money change since 2005! :-o

1) I truly do remember the time when the 1000 yen bill was changed and I can still remember how excited I was! Well, concerning the $5 bill being, it DOES seem very interesting and I kind of like the new quality the $5 bill shows. Abe Lincoln even looks more exposed. I don't know if they are changing it for any criminal response. Maybe they're changing it to LOOK better and give Lincoln a more sinister look within the money.

2) I'm not even sure myself if they changed it for the same reason of the 1000 yen. It COULD be true that a lot of people would copy the money to make more.

3) The first time when I saw it, it was quite astounding! I never really knew that it could be folded to match some large events of 9/11. I am totally surprised that the $20 would even spell OSAMA! I am definetly not sure if it was coincidence or conspiracy! I wonder if they knew 9/11 was gonna happen and tried to clue the citizens through the money? >:-T

Questions 1 and 2:

The article states that the redesign of the five-dollar-bill is being done in order to combat counterfeiting. U.S. currency has special features (like watermarks, thin identification strips on the inside, etc.) that show that it is genuine. Evidently, the old five dollar bill had these security features in the same places as the 100 dollar bill, so counterfeiters bleached all the ink off of fives and printed fake 100s on the paper. By redesigning the bill, they'll prevent this. The added color will also make counterfeiting harder.

3. The paper-folding tricks illustrated on the second website show creativity on the part of the people doing the folding, nothing more. If the U.S. government were somehow involved in the terrorist attacks of 9/11, they would certainly have no reason to reveal their involvement in secret picture-messages on dollar bills.

The pictures formed resemble the Pentagon and the WTC only if the viewer imagines that they do. With enough folding, we could imagine that we see pictures of any number of things on the money, but that doesn't mean they're there. The "Osama" thing is even more preposterous; we could also easily fold a U.S. bill to spell "UFO"--does that mean the government is secretly run by aliens from another world?

1) Personally, I don't care if they change it or not, it doesn't affect me at the moment. I don't know if they are changing it for the same reason as Japan, because I don't know what either one of the reasons was.
2) That probably wasn't the case. I'm guessing that, yes, they found people that could copy the 5 dollar bill, but I don't think it was the result of having found one specific group of people that were caught red-handed.
3) I don't have any opinion on this because if I said it was a conspiracy, people would argue with me because it sounds completely ridiculous and how on earth would they know exactly which buildings would be attacked so many years after they made that money. If I said it was coincidence, it would be argued that it is too weird and that it had to be planned somehow. Either way, I think both sides of this argument have good points.

1) I think that it is very cool that they made the $5 bill more colorful, and a very briliant idea, except for one point. I don't think that it will stop people from counterfiting money because there will still be "old" black and white $5 bills, so people could still make fake ones, too, you know! But I overall think that it's really smart because counterfiters need to spend more money on copying the money instead of just doing black and white!
Yes, both countries might have the same goal, but a different strategy...maybe... (?!) (^o^)
2)Like, totally! Of course! Yeah! They are always find those villians! Why don't we catch them...hahaha!
3) Well, well, well. This is a very hard question to answer! Why do we have to answer it in the first place!!!!! Ugh! Just kidding~ :)
Anyway, back to the point! I think that it coincedence, and I also think that the Osama one is coincedence, too!
